2110 Robot
The Robot
The final project was to build a robot to complete a series of tasks. The robot would be run on an Arduino, activated by banana plugs inserted into the arena. We were also provided a mechatronics kit containing various switches, motors, actuators, and solenoids. Our budget was $100.

Morphological Charts
We devised a minimum of 3 solutions for every task or action. A few of these solutions were used in the final robot (Raise Ring 1, Push Orcs 3, a variation of Grab Legolas 2). Several were cut, as the mechanisms were universal (System launched by Banana Plugs) or unnecessary (Soldiers could be placed near height limit). Some just didn't function properly, and more practical solutions were created as a result.Â

Design Review Poster Art
A design review was a larger part of the final project, where we would all present our robots "Science Fair" style, with booths and touring judges. I prepared the poster, as well as all of the artwork below and promotional stickers to give to judges and guests.
